On-Spot is a
handheld evidence documenting PC that has been specifically
developed to assist investigating officers at a crime scene.
Records can be created, managed, tracked, printed, and
transferred from the moment a piece of evidence is collected
to beyond the point when the evidence leaves your custody.
These handheld PCs come pre-loaded with software specially
engineered for evidence collection and dramatically reduce
the amount of time spent filling out duplicate information
on paper forms. The software also creates barcode labels for
each item which can be printed at the crime scene
on the lightweight, wireless label printer included with the
system. The adhesive barcode labels attach to any evidence
collection container to facilitate instant identification
and easy tracking. |

 Data
is entered into the On-Spot handheld PC using the supplied
stylus or via an optional fold-up keyboard which can be
