GM-1 Glucose MeterINTRODUCTION
Self-monitoring of blood glucose is an only method to determine people’s
glucose level in home. Many diabetics for their treatment medicine diet
and blood glucose control currently use the method. Simply
by touching a drop of the tip of test strip, the reaction chemicals on
the tip area is automatically reacted with the glucose level. No wiping or
blotting of the test strip is necessary, it is a simple and practical
system for the daily monitoring of your blood glucose level.
Basic
instructions for the use of the Glucose Mter are described below and
detail directions see the respective Operating Manual.
NOTE -Check
that the expiration date for the test strip has not lapsed. -Wash
your hands wish soap and warm water. Rinse and dry then thoroughly.
Perspiration, dirt or water remained on the finger may cause incorrect
results.
STARTUP THE TEST METER Turn
on the meter, the meter shows you a last blood data and code number, check
the code number carefully on the strip vial, if its code number does not
match the number indicated on the display, press the on/off button until
get right code.
APPLY BLOOD
Collect a drop of blood by using a lancing device. Apply the drop of blood
on the tip reaction area. The test strip will draw blood into the reaction
area and test meter starts measuring. Simultaneously, the display will
indicate the remaining time. You must apply the drop of blood to the test
strip while “rdy” is displayed.
NOTE -If
the test strip is not filled with blood sufficiently, an incorrect test
result may obtain. See the figure in Manual for the required blood volume
and perform the test properly. -Be
sure to apply a drop of blood to the tip reaction area of the test strip.
